DUTY PARENT SCHEME
At Avon Chinese School, the welfare and safety of our children are a top priority for both teachers and parents. To ensure all students are properly supervised during school hours, we operate a Duty Parent Scheme for Classes 1 to 6.
At the start of each term, class teachers will create a rota. All parents with children in Classes 1 to 6 are required to choose their preferred duty dates. If no preference is given, the teacher will assign the remaining parents to the available slots at random.
This is a mandatory scheme. All parents (except those who are already teachers at the school) must complete at least one duty per enrolled child each term.
If you are unable to attend on your assigned date:
Please notify your class teacher at least one week in advance.
If you miss this window, you will need to arrange a swap with another parent yourself.
Do not call or email the school on the day, and please do not fail to show up without making prior arrangements.
CHILDREN'S SAFETY MUST NEVER BE COMPROMISED
Your cooperation is essential.
